Bill Of Rights For Whom ?

The Government in each country is different. Some are more strict than others , but i do not agree that the government can change a persons culture. A persons culture represents who they are and where they come from. Many people com from smaller countries to the Us for a better life , which does not mean that they come for a different culture and way of life.An important ammendment in the government is Freedom of speech . this law gives people the right to communicate an opinion as well as they should have the right to have and represent their own culture.

West Ward Expansion

While the Jews faced tragedies , the Native Americans lost most of their property.Mentally and physically they both experienced the Genocide. Both Groups of people were mistreated by people of an opposite ethnity. The native Americans were seperated from their homes and cultures.the jews were taken away from their homes and cultures as well , difference was that they were tortured as slaves by the Germans in the Holocaust.

Animal Farm !

Powering Tyranny :
Tyranny is when a government where only one ruler holds all the power.Having a good conscience is when your conscience is free of guilt or shame. The quote "All tyranny needs to gain a foothold is for people of good conscience to remain silent "  means that as the government is easily taking over the citizens , without their opinion before a decision. just like the pigs try to outsmart all the other animals and make it seem as if they are benefiting all of the other animals .
Striking Fear:
The quote “He who strikes terror into others is himself in continual fear " means that if you fear others , you must fear yourself and everything around you . As the animals feared Mr.Jones and his bad treatment , they haven't noticed that Napoleon is treating them the same way . They only fear what they want to fear ! In the book Animal Farm , Napoleon is in fear even though he might not recognize it himself. he is not being original and is stealing all of snowballs good ideas to win the animals trust . He is afraid to loose his position of power.
Becoming the Enemy :
The quote "If we behave like those on the other side, then we ARE the other side. Instead of changing the world, all we'll achieve is a reflection of the one we want to destroy " means , that those who we agree with and surround us are those who will control us. As the animals agreed with the laws and commandments, they had to live with them even though they didn't like them. The pigs changed the laws to better themselves. Without caring about the benefits of the other animals ,the pigs were skeeming to make their lives better !

Meaning of Swastika .

The symbol of Swastika had a very powerful meaning for manny years. Its was used when the Germans killed millions of people. The symbol was a negative meaning to some people , but to some it was a positive one. The meaning was positive , good and lucky . But its meaning changed in the 1800's when the symbol was handed to the nazi's it turned into a symbol of violence and hate.

Near the End.

1. The Holocaust ended at the end of World War 2 in the years 1944-1945 . After Russia and the U.S won the war, the allies began to release prisoners from the camps.

2. hitler committed suicide with his wife Eva by a gunshot.

3. Reading this book taught me many things, it showed me the things that were going on in the world and still are. The Holocaust is a very big issue that caught my attention . many innocent people were killed just because of a cruel persons decision and it made me realize it can happen to anyone .

Genocide .

As it happened in the Holocaust , it also happened in other places around the world. Genocide also process in Rwanda , killing up to 1 million people which is about 20% of the countries population. This was similar to the holocaust as the prisoners were taken to the consentration camps and murdered if they did not do as directed. As hours , minutes, and even seconds passed , lives were lost. Lives of innocent people that were killed because of cruel ones.

Title Night .

I think that the author of the book chose the title night to show the darkness he felt. Night shows fear , and suffer. Which represents what the book was mostly about. It means the darkness that they felt , which represented the night .

Important People of the Holocaust

                                                                       Adolf Hitler

Adolf Hitler was a Austrian man who rose to power in Germany. Once he was in control he started a program of world domination to eliminate jews . He had many goals and when he said something , he stayed to his world and completeted every one of his promises.

Auscwitz image

I picked this image because it shows when the prisoners first arrived at the camp. It shows them with their valuable belongings that they thought they were going to be able to keep. while they were thinking they were going to a better place , they were really being taken to become prisoners.

Why not escape?

I think the prisoners from the holocaust did not escape because they were in fear. They were scared that if the would attempt to escape, their families would be in trouble. They were all tricked ,and told that they would be let free and go home. They were gullable and believed everything the guards told them.

Why history is worth studying!

History is worth studying because it gives us more knowledge of what is going on in the world. History helps us understand how the world was years before. It is important to study history because we need to know why things happen today.

George killing Lennie !

I think that George killed Lennie for his own good. If Lennie were to be alive, his life would have been a living hell. Lennie has never been on his own and he wasn't going to start now. George decided to kill Lennie because Curley and his people were going to do it anyways. George was being a good friend by putting Lennie out of his misery.
